Vilmonic
Desktop Version
Bludgeonsoft
The interface design of Vilmonic is going for a warm, fun and modern take on a classic windowing UI. Vilmonic easily transitions between desktop, web and mobile platforms using a single codebase and responsive design. This includes custom abstractions to handle both mouse and touch input.

Vilmonic Mobile
Bludgeonsoft
Limited real estate and handling multiple screen/device resolutions and ratios were the primary challenges here.

TuneUp
TuneUp Media, Inc.
TuneUp was (is!) a plug-in that attached to the side of iTunes. The goal of TuneUp was to fix the metadata of your music collection with only a single push of a button, while at the same time allowing audiophiles to monitor the clean-up process and dive in to more complex UI control.
Design challenges included the extremely limited real estate, accommodating a wide range of music collectors' motivations, and fitting in next to iTunes while not looking like iTunes (as per Apple's request).

BackToBasics
Bludgeonsoft
BackToBasics is a sampler/audio trigger using an experimental maximalist/minimalist exploratory UX. The colors are customizable for each song or setup and use color theory to keep the UI readable and functional.
BackToBasics has been written up in WIRED magazine, Computer Music Journal, and Computer Music Magazine, and won honorable mention at the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music, Bourges, France.
It was also used on The Tonight Show by Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran. I was informed by an Apple Evangelist who subsequently invited my band ORI to play at Apple headquarters. We focused a West Coast tour around the event.

WMCP
Bludgeonsoft
WMCP is a complex and flexible music sequencer that became popular with many indie bands and electronic musicians (Man Or Astro Man?, Matmos, ...). The UX focuses on running multiple apps synced together at various beat lengths and tempos, creating textured rhythms from loops going in and out of phase with each other.

Malodie
Bludgeonsoft
Malodie was a simplified web-based implementation of WMCP with randomly selected accent colors.
